He earned his medical degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies, graduating summa cum laude and honored nationally for academic excellence. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, followed by a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania.
